In response to a question about identifying early or later Naim interconnects, here’s a picture of an early grey interconnect with locking collared DIN plug. This came with a Naim NAT03 Tuner.
Here it is compared with a later lavender grey interconnect (bottom); note that the cable is slightly thicker and a different shade of grey on the later interconnect.
Here are the early and late locking collar Naim interconnects and a Chord Chrysalis circa 2005 for comparison - early (top), late (middle), Chord Chrysalis (bottom). Note that the Chord Chrysalis is similar in gauge to the later lavender grey Naim interconnect but is a slightly lighter shade of grey.
