Humminguru v Humminguru Nova

Hi looking at a vinyl cleaner and I was looking at using my Spin Clean Record Washer MKII, then go through the humminguru. However not sure whether it is worth the additional expense of the Nova. Would appreciate any advice anyone has. Happy New Year all

I look forward to seeing the responses to this too.
HummingGuru and Oki Nokki both on my list to replace my aging Project VCS this year.
May even go for both…:face_with_peeking_eye:

Easier to handle 7 and 10 inch records with the Nova.

Is that all?
I only have 12” records so the Nova may be unnecessary for me then

The Oki Nokki will be part of my conversation with Tony as we get into January.

Graham gave me a nice demo when i got my oki from them, hopefully he passed on all his tips and tricks to Tony on his retirement. It’s easy enough to use and gets good results but it’s abit noisy when drying.

I bought a standard Humminguru about 18 months ago and have since used it to clean around half my collection. It most definitely makes an appreciable difference to even new records and seems to completely neutralise static. I think the Nova is only really worth the extra money if you have lots of 7” and 10” records to clean which can be done without the need for the adaptor which comes supplied with the standard model.

I agree, if you just have standard 12” to clean, the standard Humminguru is all you need. Very happy with mine
