That’s one way to describe it.
Server Mode : on Air Play: off Bluetooth: off Digital 1: off Digital 2: off Digital 3: off Digital 4: off Qobuz: off Spotify: off Tidal - input enabled : on Remote - Mobile Detect: off Favorites: off Chromecast: off [USB Front: Data-only] [USB Back: Charge-only] * [Multiroom Master: off] [Multiroom Client: on (defaul setting)] [Internet Radio: on (defaul setting)] [HDMI: off]
Sorry, I meant how do you get to server mode?
I mean to access these settings, there’s no HDMI on the ND555 but it’s said to turn it off anyway? How?
@Mike_S You need to use the webclient interface as far as I know
I fear we are going around in circles, I don’t remember how to access the web client, but I have it written down somewhere.
I am struggling somewhat with the concept that one has to use a web client to disable an input for an input that doesn’t exist to get it to sound better…… struth, give me a record……
Hard to argue with that!
As @GavinB said, you type the ND555 IP address in the browser, follwed by /webclient
Mike, that made me laugh and cry at the same time!
Fingers crossed for functionality only and no change in SQ
Well some are hoping for a return to the calmer shores offered by the 3.8’s but another 3.10 would be plain sad Ian.
Then everyone need to buy new cables again ![]()
My Fingers crossed to be the opposite.
Same functionality but better SQ
And you will be back on NDS
@Mike_S brilliant, that has to be one of the funniest posts of the year!!!
Bless ya!!!
Brilliant
going even further, you have to do disable the nd555 Blu-ray capability to to get sound right (not only better) ![]()
I tweaked my nds by disassembling the Scart connector ![]()
Beware @drago, you can’t discuss such things on the forum
It’s against the rules! ![]()
Another 3.10 will see our NDX2 sold! And an exit from the naim ecosystem altogether,
Help! @Darkebear
I went onto webclient
Clicked on HDMI
Now no music in system not working. I don’t know how to reverse this.
What have I done?
David
