The full 3 piece lina is £26900
The bartock headphone and rossini clock is £24750
As said the dac in both is set up differently apparently as one is designed to be used with headphones, the board in the lina dac is folding board and goes up the sides of the unit unlike the dac board in the bartock.
But plenty out there already on the lina and its ment to be very good as you would want for the price.
But its not designed to be used in a two channel system, its a stand alone hi end headphone rig, which you can have just the amp, dac and then clock if you go all the way and need the dac etc.
Looking back not that long ago the bartock at £10k now looks an absolute bargain, especially as it about to get a huge free upgrade to the 2.0 software.
Certainly going to be punching well above its price point
I don’t know. I’m running qobuz through my laptop, $3,000 sennheiser headphone amp and 800s headphones. Cannot possibly be improved imo, certainly any marginal cost/benefit with this spens could only be miniscule.
Well that can certainly be improved be quite a margin, just like most thinks can with this hobby. The question is valve for money and with that we are all different, as in how much better is a full 500 system costing over £75000 to say a nova
Don’t see the relevance … the questions would be a) are you happy with your sound? (Answer is Yes, so job done) … if no, b) can YOU hear the difference? (never mind about the other 99.99% :-)) and c) is the difference worth the cost of swapping … to YOU … but as you say, it’s sounding great, so just enjoy and relax.
