Input error

I am sure no one would be so stupid as to repeat this, but just in case.

I bought a 332/333/250, took the 333/250 away, 332 on order.

The dealer loaned me leads to use my Atom (not HE) as a pre-amp, so I could enjoy music until the 332 came.

This much I have discussed in other threads, so my apologies for being repetitive.

What I have NOT mentioned before is that whilst I connected the 333 into the Atom’s RCA input and the 250 to the Atom’s RCA output, I did not (stupid is as stupid does) select the ‘analogue 1’ button on the Atom (via Naim app)…

So, what I have been listening to in the last ten days is the Atom as a pre-amp AND as a streamer, into the 250.

The 333 has been plugged in and lit up, but unused!

It did sound better before, in fact very good, as the 250 was streets ahead of the Atom power amp section, but after visiting Tom Tom yesterday and seeing how it is supposed to be set up (222 rather than Atom), it is now a revelation!!

I spent most of the evening discovering my old records (streams).

What a donut!

Still have the 332 to come and new speakers, but it’s already sounding FAB :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
