Hello,
Just a quick simple question, is it only the XS3 and Supernait 3 integrated amps that have an inbuilt phono stage?
If so, why does the XS1 and XS2 have a ground post on the rear?
Thanks:+1:t5:

The Nait 50 also has a phono stage.
Ground posts are not just for turntables. They can be used for other things too. And if you have an external phono stage and want to ensure a single signal ground reference, you would possible connect the turntable ground directly to the amp.
Nearly every amp will have a ground post regardless of phono stage. If you have a signal ground issue with anything, they can be quite useful.
With turntables, grounding is never straightforward, or at least can be that way from time to time, hence why it’s useful for the pre-amp or Integrated amp to offer up a ground post as an alternative to one that might be on the phono stage. The NAIT XS and XS2 both have powered AUX2 sockets for a phono stage, and were you to use these with a Naim Prefix then you would most likely need to connect the earth lead to the amp itself.
