Interest in a Forum Factory Visit 2025

Yes, that was just an idea I had regarding selection, but obviously the demand has been far greater than I thought, so I think it may have to be names out of a hat, or first to post on a particular day and time. The good news is that it looks like we may well now have 3-4 forum visits each year, so that relieves some pressure. Once we have some dates agreed I’ll let everyone know and then I’ll work out a method of selection.

I don’t know if it’s realistic to take into account (probably isn’t), but if is distance/travel would be nice. Someone living within a couple of hours drive away might be more flexible regarding which of the 3-4 to go on than someone having to travel and needing to make it a multi-day trip and/or being tied to (school) holidays.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if there were a coffee table book on the history of Naim Audio? It might even sell better than the limited edition Nait 50!

One day a dealer wanted me to buy a second Day Sequerra. I can’t say if I made an error to not have bought it.

It would certainly have excellent inky blackness.

I and significant other would be interested in a factory tour :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Graeme, I just received this from Naim re accessibility of the factory;

everything is bottom floor so accessibility shouldn’t be an issue for the most part. The Statement area is the only part of the tour that would be a no-go if the person in question were unable to leave the wheelchair as it’s upstairs. If they could climb the stairs supervised, we could send the wheelchair up in the lift.

Oh that’s brilliant, Richard. If my name is pulled from the hat can I please bring @Keltik to look after me?

Thanks for asking.

@Richard.Dane As the visit is now massively over subscribed, even at 4 per annum suggesting 2 max remaining this year, is there any feedback as to dividing by interest, general, firmware issues, Naim platform, etc., and in particular Beta Testing?

I would be absolutely interested in the latter and, having been fortunate to attend a previous ‘standard’ factory visit, would suggest it only fair that I would pass a similar visit on to a forum member who has not attended before.

Nait2 has pre-out?

Any upcoming beta group visit will probably be steered by R&D but I don’t have any further info on that. Right now I’m just concentrating on a general forum visit, the next one will likely be 3rd or4th week of August and then another a few months after that. I’ll be posting a new thread for the August visit soon…

Thanks Richard :grinning_face::+1:.

I certainly don’t mind waiting until a later one @Richard.Dane (not 4th week in Aug though) as I don’t have any ‘digital’ Naim.
I would like to visit though as I’ve never been to Salisbury never mind the Naim headquarters!
I’d probably tie it in with a 2/3 nights visit in the campervan :+1:

It can be converted to a pre-amp if you take a look at the rear top left corner. Why you would do that to a fantastic little amp I’ve no idea!

Thanks Nic and Badly .. I’ve never actually played with a 2 .. will do one day I’m sure.

Good time to buy as prices are reasonably low at this time of year.
