Intro 2 tweeter replacement

I have two new sets of SL2 tweeters. I believe they are SCANSPEAK D2010/851100. If I got a pair of Intro 2s and replaced the old Vifa tweeters with a pair of the Scanspeaks, would it be a genius move, or a disaster?

Does anyone know if the Scanspeak tweeters will fit on Intro 2s in place of the original Vifa tweeters.

I can’t really offer you any degree of confidence in my answer - but I think they would fit.

Could you not offer up the Scanspeak to the Vifa, but inverted, to see if the diameter is the same? There shouldn’t be anything to interfere with the extra depth.
