Today’s app update still crops albums’ name…
That’s the second version since I informed the support but still not solved…
Hi @duf666
Is the problem caused by changing the font size in the accessibility options in iOS? From your screenshot the text looks very large compared to the time text in the top left hand corner.

Hi,
I’ve never changed anything about font size in my iPad…
Hi,
Re: duplicate text
Think the thread is being hijaxked with a different subject.
Ref the duplicate text, are you running on ios app emulation on mac os?
On a real device it should look, like this:

Steve
Yes.
Hi @duf666
Go into the Accessibility option in setup:
Selection option ‘Larger text’
Chances are its switched on. Move the slider to the middle position and ensure Accessibility sizes is switched off.
Once done terminate the naim app and restart it, fonts should be back to normal.

Steve
Thanks, I’ll have a look.
But for the record, it was fine before…
Thanks Steve.
Hi @Stevesky I get the duplicated artists name on the regular iOS app. Only noticed it when viewing albums in Qobuz.
Great…So I guess this means another patch in the works, to fix the…patch.
And the merry go-round continues.
I mentioned in the ‘new App’ thread that my Radio Paradise Favourite seemed to cease working post update, had to delete and re-add to get operational again…Whether that’s another bug or just a one off, don’t know…
Do wonder just how well these updates are being tested…I appreciate, from decades working/using photography/graphics and network software a 100% catch-all is unrealistic…but some of this stuff, especially UI based, is pretty 101…

So do I, on Tidal. I reported it here a few weeks ago. Not caused by the latest update.
Not seeing that on Tidal/IOS/NDX2. Looks quite different to the Qobuz view. @ChrisSU I’m guessing that you have more than one Naim device (one UPSTAIRS), so perhaps issue only shows on multi-device setups?
iPad 9th gen, iOS 18.0.1
We DO have multiple devices.
If the text under device name is trying to add something it’s poorly thought out.
If you do this:
Filter Tidal view on London
Select London Grammar, duplicate artist name displayed
Go Home, London Grammar still displayed under device name even though filter is London
Select another album, duplicate artist again
GO home, Artist still displayed.
Press cancel on filtering, artist name disappears.
This doesn’t happen on iPhone 14
Looks like a basic bug because the screen estate which duplicates or retains the artist name is populated when you move to actually playing an album BUT the device name is replaced by album title,
Perhaps that’s it then - multi-device setups
Yes, I have 3 “rooms” so that could be part of what triggers it.
So… if I do this I have ALL apps and everything on the iPad is smaller
And I have to go ridiculously smaller to have the whole text not cropped !
