The Fraim is based on nuts and ball bearings so all seems logical to get an upgrade by doing that to me 
Perhaps I could have been clearer.
Vuk, who once frequented this Forum (some considerable time ago) had this idea of nuts and balls and glass selves.
Some short while later, Naim came up with a product called Fraim which incorporated nuts and balls and glass shelves.
General opinion was/is that it delivers a better listening experience to a large proportion of the Naim hifi population.
