May I ask how big is your room ? Mine is about 5x6mt - But i would ideally have the speakers seating about 3 mt apart and the sofa would be roughly 3mt away.
And how is it behaving for low volume listening ?
My room is about 4.5 metres square speaker are about 2 metre apart.
Low level listening is quite good prior to purchase I did listen to some other speaker at about this price level and preferred the Iota Aplha speakers for their all round ability.
From what I’ve read, Neat loudspeakers are voiced on Naim equipment (amongst other brands, I suppose?) and are almost always a good match. If you look for Neat Acoustics on YouTube, you can find quite a few Naim/Neat systems at audio shows.
I have Motive SX2’s, which make a great combination with the Uniti Atom (of which the Unitilite is a predecessor, I suppose). I am sure the IOTA Alpha’s will be fine too. These speakers are similar in price. Go listen to both if you can and let us know what you think.

I was sad to get an email from David Poole MD of Creative Audio to say that he is retiring and shutting up shop.

I got that email from David, bought some Naim and Neat stuff from him over the years, always a good guy to deal with, will be missed.

Yep, bought a few bits there too including my Neat Iotas. As you say he is a good guy to deal with and knew his stuff.
I purchased my Neat Motive SX2’s ‘on-line’ from them around two years ago. Never dealt with the guy personally but boy am I happy with my purchase so far and with a saving of £400 I would’ve definitely used Creative Audio again. All the best for his retirement!
