Order a different mesh system online which you can return easily. Try it out to see if it solves your issues. My hunch it will. It’s the cheapest option and as long as you can return it no loss to you. Then either keep it or use it together Netgear to fix their firmware.
Once again this is no option. The issue is not reproducible. I will need to run the system at least two months to be able to say with certainty that the issue is no longer there.
Also I need two satellites and will upgrade to latest making this quite a costly exercise.
I agree that your solution may very well solve this, but with the lack of certainty this is precisely what I want to avoid at this stage. Throwing money at the solution without any certainty what the actual problem is.
