Is Spotify lossless?

Sounds more muted and lower volume/clarity to Qobuz/Tidal? All my friends love Spotify for the shared ease etc.

Spotify Lossless is lossless if you configure it properly. It will show ‘Lossless’ in the Spotify app. On Qobuz the hires material may sound a little different, because Spotify Lossless is limited to CD quality.

Maybe you’ll find this post interesting as well. Not so much Spotify’s doing, but the labels that use different versions for the different streaming services…
