I did find that sticking some small, sticky sorbothane feet (only about 1cm square) to each corner helped tighten things up.
You can choose 3 stickness. Add feet or not. Choose colour.
As you width and length, you enter your own numbers.
I once made an isolation platform with 3 layers of 8 mm MDF glued together. From the middle layer the greatest part was cut out to create room for silver sand. After the glue was dry I drilled an 8 mm hole in the side in order to create an entrance for the sand, filled it with the help of a funnel and closed the hole.
Final steps were a paintjob and adding feet under the platform.

Find Air Conditioning [ commercial] isolators. They are usually made of a rubber compound, sometimes, with a cork layer. THE SOFTER the rubber, the better to use, in this case. four SMALL contact points is all you want. 2ā or 3ā squares. the LESS, the better. If they work to eliminate the mechanical start up motor, and continual running of a 10 ton compressor, they are perfect for audiophile use. the fancy, shiny toys, are, shiny toys.
Naim components work better under very hard and rigid isolation devices.
