Turning on ‘Reduce Transparency’ in ‘Accessibility’ fixes the hideous unnecessary ‘glass effect’ in IOS 26.

It’s an issue for me on iPad, which I have not updated the software yet. Edit. All sorted with an update to discourse

I just noticed an issue with the cursor showing up.
My main problem with Safari is it jumping up and down the thread

Ah a quick edit and cursor is in the wrong place again. Refresh and the cursor is now in the right place.

Trying through the Discourse app now using iPhone and ios26. Seems ok

Same issues for me using Duck Duck Go Browser and the forum in Dark Mode. The forum update hasn’t fixed this for me. I have my default text zoom as 120% and I have noted that a quick pinch and zoom out puts the cursor back where it ought to be every time. Tried it in Safari out of interest and it also fixes it. YMMV.
