Very sad news but just heard that producer, Mosaic Records co-founder and major friend to jazz Michael Cuscuna has passed at the age of 75. A life very well lived and a huge contribution - RIP.

One of the artists Michael produced of course was Woody Shaw.

Yes less than 2 quid for this lovely album.

I love my jazz but never listened to Coleman Hawkins’ output before.

It’s very nice. ( Borat accent a must here.)

Finally a bit of time to listen to music. Intense travel at work prevents a bit the last months.

Anyway, enjoyed these two super albums by Oscar Peterson. Highly recommended.

On another note: I am now listening to the full series of Closer To the Music albums. They are produced by StockFisch label which is famous for superb recording quality. Lot’s of Allan Taylor, Sara K. And jazz tracks. Superbly sounding
