Some nice Warren Vache on this.

Thanks for highlighting Sonnt Stitt. Absolutely brilliant. But cannot find the Tune Up in Roon through Qobuz

That is too bad Qobuz does not seem to carry that one - but Spotify has that most recent 2-fer, though I do hope access does not depend on your location? - try searching for ‘NYC Jazz Masters 1972’ using Google, you should get some Spotify links. As a last resort, youtube definitely has them! Enjoy!
Dexter Gordon | Our Man In Paris | Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series (2025)
The best of both worlds - Dexter Gordon’s famous album with a quality remaster from the original analog tapes and an immaculate pressing in Germany

I have found a near mint original vinyl of this recording from Stitt on Discogs.
The sound is already great with Qobuz. I think the vinyl will be great too.
Wonderful sound and super chilled for intensive relaxation treatment ![]()
Music whilst you iron your shirts.
This will make the jazz setting on your Naim system sing. Beautifully recorded. I never thought Ray and Telarc ever achieved this level.
Larry was the pianist in Ray Brown’s trio for a while so he is paying a compliment.
I can see it on Spotify but I have the cd.
Shirts finished. Under my blanket thinking of joys a mid June hot water bottle might bring to my old bones.
Clifford often chose to wander into jazz areas that I do not enjoy. Here however he is a master, his slightly acidic tone strips away some of the romanticism of the songs. Always enjoy Fournier’s floompy snare sound.
A van Gelder anomaly ( I do not worship at the altar) 1986, still living with Mum and it sounds fabulous.Perhaps Teekens of CrissCross was able to magically mix the sound.
On Tidal under ‘various artists’ for some reason. I found it by searching on Vernell Fournier.
