JB Radio 2

Hi all. I’ve just come back from a weeks holiday and tried to listen to my favorite station - JB Radio 2 - on my 1st generation MuSo. But it’s not playing!

Same on my little Ruark - I use the Undok app and it says “buffering” then drops the page to the home screen.

Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem?

Playing here in U.K, currently listening to it.

I’m in the UK as well. It’s odd as it was fine before we went away for a few days! Attached screenshot shows what Undok is showing me for my Ruark. I’ve no idea if it’s the same on terms of my MuSo not playing it but it ain’t working on that either.

For what it’s worth, I’ve even done a factory reset on the Ruark but to no avail.

All my other favorites are playing fine.

Oh and just to confuse things, the JB Radio 2 website is fine.

Hi all,

JB Radio 2 changed their stream addresses a few days ago.
Latest Naim Radio system resync’d within 4hrs of the change on the AAC and FLAC stream, but products on VTuner will be down as they haven’t updated.

On non Naim products - no comment!

Thanks Steve. I have a 1st gen MuSo and have no idea what VTuner is…is there any way I can reconnect my MuSo to the new stream or will it just happen automatically?

Hi @Victorthesecond

In Naim Choice view on VTuner I’ve updated the JB Radio 2 URL. Have also written to VTuner asking them to update their main directory.

Thanks Steve. Oddly, it’s now playing on my MuSo… No such luck on the Ruark though! I’ll approach them direct. Thanks for your help.

Now there us a surprise!

Hi Steve, sorry to bother you again. Without wanting to overcomplicate things, I installed (eventually!!) a firmware update on my 1st Gen MuSo but then discovered that the only way I could listen to any radio was to delete all my presets and reinstall as I wished. JB Radio2 was on my original list, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere now. I know they’re still broadcasting as their website is still playing music, but I now have 2 questions:

  1. Have they changed, again, their stream address?
  2. If so, will Naim do what they need to do to update thing?
  3. How do I find it on the app? (I do find the app quite tricky to navigate and search in…)

Thank you for any help you might give

Mike

Sorry, Steve, please ignore my message. JB Radio 2 is now back on my MuSo and I’ve managed to find it in the radio listings…so all is now well…
