Hi @Torbjorn , what do you want to know? I’ve had four pairs of Gurus and still have two of them.
Kefs I’ve got ls50 and R3’s both metas, and two kc62 subs.
I’ll stick my nose in here as well; longtime LS50M owner w a KC62. Also have had the R3M in the same room / setup as demos. No comparison to the Guru though. But you’re right - Adam is your man for that one
Interrested in how you feel they compare.
I’d say they don’t, as in come from different angles as to what is important.
Guru’s would always be the keeper, it’s a classic head and heart argument.
The LS50 meta is an unbelievably transparent communicator if it has plenty of space to the side of it. Don’t treat it as a small speaker.
The R3 meta compared to the LS50 has a touch brighter presentation , giving it a more open feel, however in the right setup the ls50 has a cohesion that is stunning. However, I’ve heard the ls50 sound absolutely awful in other settings, it’s not an easy placement.
Now to Gurus, they are easy to place, stick to the designers advice and keep them close to the back wall. This isn’t because they lack bass away from it, no ita more that suddenly their cohesion and time domain accuracy comes to the fore.
Gurus present a wonderful bubble of sound, not lacking in placement but just that it sounds real, not a representation.
Q10’s are a stunning design and it’s the reason my mk1.5’s are now latest spec thanks to Erik who updated them for free when I bought my 12’s.
The 12’s need more space and sound like a massively bigger speaker and have dynamics to die for.
In most settings I would say that the Q10 is still the sweet spot, something very special in that design, however with more room the 12’s are so good.
I’ve got Neat Petites also, and they have more in common with Guru than Kef I would say.
The Kef R3 metas on the end of my Supernait 3 with plenty of space to the sides of them create an amazing sound stage.
But if ever forced to choose what to keep it would always be any of my gurus over any of my Kef’s.
Sorry should add I had mk2 q10’s that a mate now has that replaced his ls50 metas in his room that sounded awful and the gurus are a joy in a challenging room.
Thanks. Have q10s and 28s in a 20 m2 room. 28s are large in this context and have been curious about the kef 50s. I will just stick to tge gurus then!

I would, the Kefs are wonderfully capable, the Gurus are darlings .
