I just read his obituary in todays Telegraph. I first discovered him with his album 'Sky like a broken clock.

Heck, this is another big loss & at no age whatsoever. This has caught me completely by surprise now knowing that he passed at the end of May. The ulnar neuropathy diagnosis would have been a huge blow for him but I am just surprised how this news went under the radar. Kelly Joe was massively talented and I was lucky to see him a couple of times. Stunned…

Noo…… I didn’t realise, I saw him once live in a big pub in Brighton and love his music. I have literally all releases by him, where for me most outstanding album is “ Killing floor Blues” Live performance. Very sad indeed
