Just a quick note to wish our Irish Forum’ites all the best for Paddy’s Day
May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you’re dead.
Have a good day, some fine pints & great craic
And can you please field only five of your 15 at the weekend to give us a chance
Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh go léir.
My father (Paddy) died around this time (March 22nd) 19 years ago and it was the last day he was in our house so St Patrick’s Day has an extra special meaning for me. Just been to a mass where he was prayed for.
On a lighter note for anyone with a bit of Irish in them……

Nice, Mike. And amen to that.
Céad míle fáilte
No Irish in me, but I do play and sing a lot of Irish songs, so will be taking my guitar down the pub tonight to join in with the lads for Guinness and Song.

Thanks for that
I hope our boys bring home the Grand Slam today to round off an incredible year.

Much as it grieves me, I have to agree they have been the outstanding team this year & the Grand Slam is justly deserved.
If they keep playing rugby like they are now it’ll St Patrick’s day every day.
