Lake District

Has anybody done a guided fell walking holiday in the Lakes? Would you recommend the company?

Not done a guided walk as such but did a combination of Komoot and ordnance survey

Can highly recommend Loweswater Gold on tap after a long hike / ramble / climb

Not directly answering your question but Ordanance Survey do some good hiking guides under the name Pathfinder Guides.
We have dozens of these covering pretty much everywhere. When we go to an area that we are not familiar with the books and their guided walks allow you to get to know the terrain, history, geology, etc. The walks start off short and easy and gradually build up to more advanced.
Once you have done most of the guided walks, you’ll probably be able to make up your own routes from the OS maps direct.

Yeah I’m looking for all accommodation/transport/guiding thrown in so I can just concentrate on the walking.

I have been with HF Holidays to Derwent Bank near Keswick and Monk Coniston. It was quite a few years ago but they had a range of walks from easy to difficult. I became a walks leader for HF although I never led any walks in the Lake District. After being a guest with HF and qualifying as a leader it enabled me to plan walks for friends using just old fashioned paper OS maps.
