This was possibly my unexpected highlight of an eclectic and generally impressive Piano Room month. Vernon’s chat is a rather banal but the musicianship is excellent.

I watched the Piano Room programs on BBC TV last evening (sound via Naim of course)
What a special place that “room” is, its actually Maida Vale Studio 3.
Some time ago when I first heard & watched some sessions I looked up the technical stuff, they really do have some amazing systems and techniques, far too much to bore everyone on the forum with but a www search has some basic info.
Then with the TV sessions, we get to see those Tannoys …
Thoroughly enjoyed the Piano Room compilation and great to hear music stripped of recording studio trickery.
