I have recently bought a Naim muso and although really happy with the sound via Spotify and Tidal, however have encountered problems connecting to the TV via HDMI ARC and Optical inputs! The sound is okay with the normal TV and via bluetooth but when I switch to Netflix, Amazon, BBC iplayer etc I get no sound and a static interference noise! Am I missing something obvious here!
You’ll need to ensure that your TV set is set to output a 2 channel PCM digital signal. The DAC in the Mu-So is a 2 channel one and so cannot decode a multichannel bitstream.
