I am quite sure you have never seen an lp12 in that way. Chinese people can be a bit crazy. ( mono and stereo site).

Same here. A popular Naim mod was to replace the regular rubber feet with solid alloy feet from a CDS player (suitably shimmed to ensure no micro-rocking).
