I have noticed that el. socket at my SN2 it’s more loose than at other naim components which I own. I can easily see the space between chassis and the frame socket.
Is it normal?
The socket assembly should certainly have Some play to it - the cut out in the chassis is purposely made larger than the insert and likewise the inner gap should be wider than the thickness of the sled. That way there’s physical decoupling between chassis sled and socket/plug. However, I reckon only Naim can tell you if your gap is larger than It should be.
Btw, what IEC plug is that?
