Is anyone else having this problem?

The Naim app is no longer showing favourite Albums, Artists or Playlists that I’ve saved. They are all still in my Qobuz library.

This happened a few times previously, but closing and reopening the app usually sorted it.

Today, this is not working. I’ve tried an app reset too, to no avail.

This seems to have happened after my Samsung phone did the latest Android update this morning, so I wonder whether that might be a factor.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Cheers,

Ian

I had a similar problem two days ago. While I had the Naim app open the problem was resolved and my favourite tracks & albums showed up again.

Thanks Maarten; I’ll try leaving it open for a while and see if they reappear.

My wife’s phone has not yet been updated and they are all still showing for her.

Most annoying :expressionless_face:

Have you checked in the app settings that ‘show Qobuz favourites’ is enabled?

Hi Chris,

I had no idea there is a setting for that! I’ve just had a look in the settings available and can’t see it. Where is it?

Cheers,

Ian

I can’t remember exactly and I’m not at home at the moment, but try Input Settings > Qobuz.

Cheers, Chris.

I had a look at the input settings and realised that the phone update or app reset had logged me out of Qobuz.

Logged back in and all favourites have reappeared.

Cheers,

Ian

Looks like I spoke too soon @ChrisSU I closed the app, reopened it and they’d disappeared again. I logged out of Qobuz, then back in and they came back. Closed and then reopened the Naim app - gone again. Deleted and reloaded the app from the play store; favourites back. Closed and reopened app - gone.

There is no option that I can see to select whether Qobuz favourites are displayed or not. As far as I can remember, mine have always just been there.

This is really frustrating!

It’s here. Services & Accounts, Qobuz.

That appears to be the problem, Nigel.

I see this:

Hence my confusion and frustration, that something that has always been there, seems to have disappeared for no apparently fathomable reason.

Cheers,

Ian

HH’s phone is an iPhone whereas yours is I think you said Android. That’s why they are different.

Hmm. Is that the Android app? Mine is the iOS current version 7.5.1.

Yes, Android.

If I log out and then back in to Qobuz through the app, the favourites reappear for as long as the app remains open.

If I close and reopen it again, they disappear.

I suspect something has been upset by yesterday’s Android update; I imagine this might need a support ticket raising.

Do you mean an update to Android itself, rather than the Android version of the Naim app? Whichever it is, a support request is a very good idea. I’ll see if I can add something in the beta group, once you confirm which it is. How frustrating.

I stand corrected. The update was not on the Android OS, but Samsung’s One UI, which is now on version 7.0 for my phone - a Galaxy S22.

My wife has a Galaxy A series, running on an older version of One UI; the Naim app continues to function as it should on hers.

So, it would appear yesterday’s One UI update has caused the problem.

Cheers,

Ian

I also have a Galaxy S22, and the new One UI was installed overnight.
However my Qobuz favourites are all present and correct on the home screen for each of my streamers.

Sorry (or happy?) to say I can’t replicate your issue. Have you tried rebooting your phone in case it still has some updating to do?

Hi Entilzha,

I just did a reboot but no change. I also tried logging out of Qobuz in the app, restart phone, log back in. Again, the favourites show…until I close and reopen the Naim app, whereupon they are gone. All other apps, as far as I can tell, are functioning as expected.

Really frustrating!
