Making Uniti Core Folders Available in Windows Home Version 25H2

First I would like to thank all of you who have posted on the issues of getting Windows 11 Home to see Uniti Core folders. I followed the advice and a lot more from outside this forum and had no success, Windows kept asking me for user credentials - user name and password. I don’t know why but in desperation I entered “guest” to the user name and password fields and voila I now have access to the folders. No idea why this worked. Just thought I would post this in case it helps anyone else. Cheers.

I assume you mean ‘seeing’ the Core typed in a Windows browser like \\192.168.0.5\ for example?

Thanks for this tip.

Yes by typing the IP Address of the Unity Core shown in the network settings into a File Explorer window.

Thankfully I didn’t have the issue mentioned in the original post.
