Manual CD ejection

I have a relativly new Naim Uniti Star. Recently I had the misfortune of being unable to eject a CD. The help site indicated where I might, using a paper clip manually eject the CD, Now I know my eyesight is not very good but even I aided with a powerful torch should be able to see it, I managed eventually to solve the problem by unconnecting and reconnecting the power lead. Any help would be appreciated and sorry if I am being stupid.

Here’s a close up image of the Star. I have circled the eject hole.
