Mass Deletion of closed threads?

@Richard.Dane Hi. A lot of threads in my list in HIFi Corner are closed. Individually I can select mute and they disappear. Is there any way to mute them “in mass”thanks in advance.

I don’t think so. Which list are you referring to?

When I go into HI-Fi corner, I see this long list of closed threads b/c there has been no response in two months. I would rather not see them forever, if possible. If not, I will live with it. Thanks Richard.

The only issue you my have is that sometimes somebody (the OP) asks for a thread to be re-opened in order to give an update or resolution to an issue. In that case, if a thread is muted then you may miss it once re-opened.

He wants to mute then in mass, not one by one, like select them all and click on mute.

Change your view to latest instead of categories. That will show all threads with activity since the last visit, regardless of whether it’s in “hifi corner” or “streaming” etc.

Unless there’s something contentious or you’d prefer removed for a reason I’d suggest just leaving them untouched even if ‘locked’ as someone may find them helpful down the line.

How are you sorting them? Within any Category (including the Hi-Fi Corner), you can click on the “Activity” column to sort by most recently active. If the arrow on the column is pointed up, click it a second time to reverse the sort.
