So , 50 years ago Melanie did a UK tour and i managed to get to Cardiff , Bournemouth , Birmingham and Manchester.
As this was pre internet it involved a lot of writing/telephoning for tickets but things then seemed easier and just lived for the day , didn’t do a lot of planning.
But made a lot of memories , running out of petrol in the middle of Birmingham , car not starting in Belle Vue car park in pitch darkness . High point was the concerts and meeting Melanie though.
So today [and will be next week] have been spinning Melanie discs and reliving that crazy time.
