I’m a big fan of Michael Fremer. He’s one of those characters who make great videos whether you agree with them or not. His experience is immense and his enthusiasm never dims. I like his advice when he simply points out that not all high end systems sound great to everyone. Listening pleasure really is in the ears of the beholder. He brings out his Tommy album with reverence, compares new Stones mono pressings with stereo versions and gives us his opinion. I think reviewers should be controversial at times and say what they think rather than trying to be all things to all listeners, inoffensive, sitting on the fence… you get my drift. Hey look, here we are on page 60 still talking about him. God bless him and characters like him.
