Yes, very sad. Tasteful player and wrote some great songs. Think he has been bedridden for about 8 years after a stroke.

Very sad news. Saw him play that opening riff in “All The Young Dudes” many times. R.I.P.

Saw him with Bad Co several times, great player, and configured that superb opening riff on Can’t Get Enough.

Let’s post one more in memory of Mick. I had the pleasure of being in the audience that night at Wembley. So glad I did.

Behind the curve as ever, I have just read the obit. in Wednesday’s Times

Interesting sounding guy, and by all accounts pretty unassuming.

Paul Rodgers said, "You can immediately recognise his playing and go, ‘That’s Mick Ralphs.’ "

Rest In Peace Mick, you’ve left a superb legacy of music.

I saw Mick 5 times with Mott and once with Bad Company, great guitarist and I’d recommend anyone to listen to Ready For Love, both the Mott and Bad Company version for a taste of his songwriting and guitar work.

Part of my past in the Bad Company era.
Reminds me of having a few pints and then blasting off to the disco on a Saturday night in my friends P6 Rover V8 at ridiculous speeds to try and pull a chick
Well it was the 1970s !
