Missing Albums

Oddly, if that is finder on your Mac, it’s different from how I see Finder on my Mac Mini running an older operating system, and I don’t have familiarity with any other Macs. I’m not sure I can help more with searching the Mac – probably best for somebody else with the same type of computer in case there are other differences.

However, please don’t use that horrible PostImage online app thing to post your images! Not only is it full of ghastly clutter but is also annoying to have pop up separately in a browser. You can quite simply take a photo with a smart phone or tablet and upload the imsge directly into the forum.

Uh, Thanks for that. I didn’t know one could do that so I’ll try to upload straight to here. :+1:

Meanwhile, I think I’ve solved the problem. I recently ripped an original copy of Pink Floyd DSOTM, alongside a more recent SACD hybrid version. When I was about to send the file to my NAS a note appeared wanting me to decide whether to ‘merge’ the file with the existing folder or, well, not so for some reason I decided to Not and so the ‘other’ version was basically deleted. I’ve probably not explained this as good as I can so apologies. I’ve recently gone from ripping on a Windows PC to a MacBook and for the likes of myself who is not very good with this kind of tech, I can and do make mistakes. I live and learn… hopefully.. At least I managed to get a picture up on here without the ghastly Post images. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Thank You..

Yes. totally agree, and thank you and everyone else who helped me. I don’t often rip cd’s and use the software etc so I do forget. I do plan to add another HDD soon as I’m running out of space but that’s another job for another day.
