We are ok to spend incredible amounts on our main set and tend to always be careful with the mobile setup. While often in the office or on summer holidays the listening enjoyment is for hours.
I think we have to adapt the paradigm…

Are you suggesting that you can buy Chinese brand earphones for under £200 that sound as good as SE846?

A good place to start is “bad guy good audio reviews” in youtube, there is a best of chifi list each month, check the old months as well
İ own 3-4 of them and listened other 3-4 trough friends, they are getting better and better
My personal favorite and best value for money in hifi is the tin audio t3, it is a very good iem for a under 100$
İ use mostly bgvp dm7 altough i own Noble encore as well, there are 2 from fiio which are very good as well
İems are now officially chinise bussines:)
