Sure. But the OP has a TV with freesat built in.
Sure our Tv has Freesat built in but the Freesat box has a 1Tb hard drive for storing recordings, So we use that for viewing and recording.
Similar story here. We previously had SkyQ with a wideband LNB and they donāt work on TVs with Freesat built in according to Freesat help desk. It certainly didnāt work on our LG OLED that is only 18 months old.
LNB it was. Now sorted although may yet need new dish as LNB had to be adapted to fit old dish - time will tell.
Surprised that you didnāt just get a new dish while you were at it, a dish and LNB together are only about Ā£40
I donāt like throwing away things that are still working and the fitter said that, if his solution does not work, he will replace the dish at cost so worth a go.
Fair enough if the modified LNB will still fit on a new dish I guess
