Most useful HiFi related thing discovered this year

For me, having invested in an upgrade for ANC Bluetooth headphones (Lev 5909’s), a third party EQ, 10 channel 32hz to 16khz.

Of course, being relatively ancient in years means losing all that sparkling top end, I’ve also had severe bass AND treble loss in one ear.

Putting the EQ app in between the Qobuz app and the headphones has improved things dramatically.

Totally recommended.

At the very last possible moment, a UnitiCore.

For me, discovering that a sub makes such a massive difference to the whole listening experience. I would never ever have believed it unless i had heard it with my own ears.

That looks excellent.
Would you share where you got it from and what it’s labelled as please?

Google Mr Siga duster. Got it from Amazon.

does it actually collect the dust like the flash dust magnet or just move it about?

Thanks

Being able to live quite happily with an all in one system after decades of separates.

Enforced by house move but it’s great to get off the tweaking path.

For me, getting an HDMI DeEmbedder (Blustream HD11AU) which allows you to get the Hi-Res output from a Blu-ray Player from its HDMI output and then convert it to Coaxial for input to my Streamer/DAC.

Enables the full Hi-Res audio on Blu-ray discs to be played on your HiFi System.

For me, the PSI AUDIO C214 Active Bass Trap. Fully absorbs bass energy from hot zones at room boundaries, taming the nulls at the listening position.

Cleaning the volume and balance controls by moving fully left and then fully right. I had forgotten about this. Nice improvement on my POTS 8 NAC 52

  1. Discovering how much better a Harmonic Resolutions Systems (HRS) EXR rack is, than the Fraim that I was such a fan of for the last 7 years or so.
  2. What a REL six-pack brings to the table, compared to just a stereo pair.

Now I have a bunch of Fraim disassembled, sitting packed away in boxes. My wife will kill me if I don’t start listing them.

But all anyone will need is one level for a Nait 50, so could be a tough market.:face_with_peeking_eye:
