A simple question, so I thought, with an answer that seems difficult to find.
I have a ND5 XS2 and a Nait XS2 and love the sounds.
To enjoy the naim sound in my bedroom I’m looking for a Naims’ multiroom compatible streamer. Not looking for the MuSo’s as I don’t like the Focal sound.
Which streamers are compatible with multiroom? It seems this is related to the firmware version of the old devices, but can’t seem to find an clear answer.

Hi, all Naim streamers are compatible with each other for multiroom use. If you want a non-Naim option you can use AirPlay, Chromecast or Roon multiroom instead and they will sync with the ND5XS2.
even the older models? like the super unity from 2012?
Yes, all of them. Tho only limitation is that some if the very first Unitis made (not Superunitis) are only able to work as ‘client’ streamers within the group rather than ‘master’ streamers. The Superuniti may need a firmware update.
