Music On Special Offer

Not my kind of normal listening, but well worth a punt for £15 when I looked - annoyingly all my Amazon locker or delivery locations were unavailable/full so I couldn’t order as likely to be away from home - grrrr! Amazon really need to have a feature that if a Locker is full the order will get queued and dispatched when a locker is free. Price rose by nearly £10 and lockers still full a few hours later :frowning:

Anyone else’s copy damaged?

What a poor show :skull_and_crossbones:

No So go on have a good moan.:zombie:‍♂

Not your normal listening So you ain’t really going to miss out if you’ve not got a delivery address.:joy:

Just bought the CD version from Amazon for £4.99 (Prime).
If you like Clapton even just a little I recommend strongly you buy this. The live tracks are outstanding, the recording quality of both albums is first class. A rare bargain. Even The Kevster might enjoy some of it!

Just not familiar with it, but some similar stuff on streaming sounded good, so for £15 looked a bargain.

In highres only 14.95 at 7digital, quite good…

That must be the bargain of the century, Bertbird, well found! I’ve read favourable reviews of this set, but haven’t heard all the performances yet. I paid £30.26 at Highresaudio at the end of November for a highres download.

It is £11.99 now !

Amazon have Patti Smith’s first five albums on CD in one of those cheap cardboard boxes for 11 quid.

A bargain!

The first 8 albums from Neko Case available as the repackaged box set ‘Truckdriver Gladiator Mule’ from 7digital in the UK in 16/44.1 FLAC for just £8.99 (priced £23.98 on Qobuz UK).

(Also note that only albums 2-8 are currently available for streaming from Qobuz, the first is greyed out. )

Both of sublime US rapper/poet Noname’s albums on Bandcamp in 24/44.1 and 24/48 FLAC respectively as ‘pay what you feel’. I think it’s a voice to die for.

Very nice album from London-based band Pama Internatonal who allegedly describe themselves as ‘Dub Fuelled Ska Rocksteady & Reggae’! Just £2 + VAT for a 24/44.1 FLAC download or £2.50 for a CD including an extra copy to give to a friend or £5 for a vinyl copy.

As the thread title is Music on Special Offer, I found what I first thought must be a pricing error.
OK before I start, this not normal hifi-mans music, something I suspect more suited to the ladies, 80 & 90’s romantic pop & Starsky & Hutch fans, but I’m not apologising for that, this all new ‘best of’ release is ridiculously cheap.

Thanks Mike, I really liked Don’t Give Up On Us Baby when it was in the charts, which as a 13 year old headbanger was a bit embarrassing. I might pick this up.
