Muso 2 / Sky Q / Dolby Digital / HDMI issue

Hi

I have Sky Q plugged into my TV and then HDMI Arc plugged into my Muso 2.

This seems too work fine as long as the Sky sound output is on Normal but as soon as I change to Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus all I get is crackling static sounds from the Muso.

Can the Muso handle Dolby Digital?

No pcm stereo only.
