I had to reset the wireless network settings of my Muso qb2, and the current app on android (app version 7.1.1) gets into a loop where it somehow cannot scan for nearby devices when setting up a new device, despite having all the appropriate permissions. Fortunately there is quite an easy workaround, if you can get to the “purple flashing led” stage (wifi ready). Sharing here for future help and reference:
- Once the purple light is flashing use *any device to connect to the wifi network of the device itself.
- *any device that allows you to see the gateway for your current wifi connection and has a browser
- Find the gateway / router address for the current connection which should be an ipv4 address e.g. '192.168.254.1`
- Enter the ip address in your browser, and voila! a nice web interface shows up
(unfortunately I did not make any screenshots) - Navigate to network settings, click refresh and select the desired network and enter its password (if any)
- This will disconnect the unit from its direct wifi connection and will connect to the network you selected.
- Once connected, open the app on a device that is connected to the same wifi and you can continue with the process for setting up a new device.
I hope this is hepful!
