Hi All,
All of a sudden my Dac started experiencing troubles syncing with external streamers. The sources are namely Primare NP5 and ifi Zen Blue. I’ve tried with different cables (RCA/BNC), different inputs but with no success. Interesting thing is that it’s syncing with the CD5 XS no problem. Any of you have any idea what the issue might be?

Probably the Streamers that are the problem,not the nDac as it works fine with the CD player.
I had a problem with my nDac a few weeks ago (wouldn’t sync at all following a power outage). It was cured by resetting the system. Switch the nDac off. Press and hold the Dock button on the front panel and switch the nDac on. Release the Dock button. The lights on the front panel will flash for a few seconds and then it will reboot.
This may not fix your problem but it only takes a few seconds and will do no harm. Good luck.
I have no experience with the streamers you mention, but is it possible that their output has been set to a too high resolution for the nDAC to handle?

I use an NP5 and ndac.
I’ve noticed it loses sync only if the NP5 output is set to fixed, but it does not effect performance.
When output is native it does not lose sync.
