The Napsc powers the digital circuits - basically the switching and the lights. Surprising as it may seem, adding one makes a surprising difference. The 202 sounds more natural with a Napsc, in fact I wouldn’t use a 202 without one. Naim call it Upgrade 1 for a good reason.
Ok - yes it makes sense - so different power supplies work on different sections of the item they are connected to - I just thought one power source for one pre-amp so to speak - there ought to be an Idiots guide to Naim Hi-Fi? Book
