NAC 252 240 5 pin DIN

Hi all,
Am I correct in thinking that the 240 degree 5 pin DIN between the SC and 252 just carries power and has no impact on SQ (assuming cable in good condition)? Many thanks for responses.

It carries the logic control DC power.
