NAC-282 Connections?

Based on input from another post, I purchased a NAC-282 as an upgrade from my XS2.
Please see attached photo of the back of the 282.
I’m kindly looking for some guidance on how to hook this up.

My inputs are the following:
-Thorns Turntable
-Node 2i Streamer and Qutest DAC

I have the following power units:
-NAPSC
-HICAP

Thank you in advance!

I would start with the manual. It’s a very comprehensive “book.” Everything you need is in there.

If you dont have it you can download from Naim.

Here’s the connection diagram for the NAC282, HICAP, and NAPSC;

Note that for your Thorens Turntable you will need a phono stage of some kind, such as a Stageline (depends on the cartridge you are using).

What you also need to understand is how to connect to the XS2, of course. As you are using a Hicap to power the 282, you take the audio signal from the Hicap (not, as you might assume, the 282) and connect it to the XS2 power amp in socket, from which you need to have removed the link plug. Follow the instructions for this in the XS2 manual.

All this information is in the manuals.
That said ……

I assumed I would remove the XS2 completely and that the NAC-282 would replace it.
I’m not understanding your comment about the XS2. I should have mentioned in my OP that I have a NAP200.

I assumed that you were going to use the 282 with the power amp in the XS2. If you have a 200……

Shown above with a 250 but it’s the same with a 200, using the DIN lead that comes with it to connect it to the Hicap.
