Can I use the digital out on my 272 to take Tidal and iradio out into another DAC?

Yes, any digital input signal can be routed to an external DAC via the SPDIF out.

What you can’t do though is then feed that DAC output back into the NAC-N272 again.

I plan to take the streaming section out into chord M Scaler - TT2 and use the TT2 pre into my power amp.

Or, add a PS555

Yes, that would work. It would mean a lot of redundancy in the 272, so changing it for a dedicated streamer might make sense if you do that.
