I have 222 and 250 with the 300 if I put a 350 pair and remove the 250 would it sound much better
Definitely ![]()
Maybe.
A 333, 332, 250 would put the emphasis on the source and is likely to be a better option.
Your speakers? Can’t see them in your profile. Will be a factor.
I am inclined to agree with HH. Certainly it would be worth testing vs the amp upgrade

Try 500 before going 350.
I went from 300DR → 350s and absolutely loved it. I have 252 and passive Kudos Titan 606 and the 350s gave me a significant step up in every audio perspective. No regrets at all.
PS….. I did consider going to 552 and keep the 300DR but after side by side auditions at home the difference was negligible to my ears so I went 350.
It may depend on speakers. My Spendor D7.2 are fairly efficient. Going with the NC 250 meant that I could have an NPX300 on both my 332 and 333, which I would not have been able to do had I chosen the 350 amps, because of rack space constraints. Also streaming with the 333 is probably much better than with the 222. In essence I agree with HH. The OP may also require a phono stage.
I compared the 222-300-250 against a 222- 350 and a 332-333-250.
Whilst the 350 did have good points and was immediately impressive, over extended listening I preferred the systems with a 250 in it. I eventually ended up trading my 222 in for a 332-333 and another 300. The NC250 has a lot more grunt than the 250DR, and SQ is a distinct step up. But this is just my opinion; I would advise you to listen to the different combinations and choose the setup that sounds best to you.
What did you find?
It comes on what you are looking for.
If you like for exemple the 135 and need more power and grip for difficult or big loudspeakers, I think the 350 will be a good option.
Secondly, I listen once the 222 with the 350 and It was really musical and involving.
For sure a bigger source should be the first step if your actual amplifier has enough power for your loudspeakers.
While being impressed by 222/250NC at my local dealer I have not made any such comparison. Suggestion to test 500 was only to refer to old adage of upgrading always 2 steps at a time.
Could you update your profile.
I would expect so, but especially so if the speakers are demanding.
Still don’t know what speakers the OP uses…..
I have Naim 222 and 250 plus 300, I’m thinking of changing the 250 and buying the 350 any comments also my speakers are Focal Kanta, or would it be as good if I put Super Lumina speaker cables in
I think you posted in the wrong section, you are in the lounge, should be Hifi corner.![]()
@Richard.Dane can fix it for you.
Now moved.
Whether it’s worthwhile change or not probably depends on your speakers, your room and whether you like it enough to fund it
.
Home audition would be a sensible start.

The Kantas are easy to drive. I’d swap the 222 for a 333 and 332 instead.
You do know you need 2 x 350?
