Naim 5pin Snaic Cables

I recently purchased on ebay a 5pin to 5pin cable to hook up my NaimCD player to my Flatcap but the pins dont line up they appear too close together why is the difference?

Interconnects are grey, 180° 5 pin DIN.

SNAICs, which carry power and signal, are now black and 240° 5 pin DIN.

If you want the Flatcap to power the CD player you need a 240° SNAIC, not a 180° interconnect.

As @gthack mentions, it looks like you have a DIN5 interconnect, rather than a SNAIC5.

I’d look for a genuine Naim SNAIC5 cable as Forum rules preclude further discussion on non Naim versions of these cables.
