No, the later 92R had a remote, but not the earlier models.

The NAC92R is compatible with any Naim NARCOM remote handset as well as it’s own original basic remote handset.

Note though that the regular NAC92 is not remote controllable.

I assume it will say NAC92R on the rear of the device ?

Yes, and you can also tell the difference from the front - look for the little IR window on the fascia panel.
