Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, but I thought I would start here.
Can someone please tell me what the function or purpose of the ‘Local Music’ option is on the Naim App? An annoying list of items such as Favourite Albums, Artists, Genres, etc. under the ‘Local Music’ heading keeps appearing. I’ve no idea where this option came from or what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated.
It’s for using an attached USB drive as a local server and making it available to other streamers on the network. It can be turned off via options.
If you use a USB drive for music attached directly to the streamer, this is where you will find it. If you don’t do that, just ignore it.
I use a 128 Gb memory stick in the rear socket, and rip CDs to it.
